Next generation of BeagleBone® SBC

SanCloud announces BeagleBone® Enhanced 2 - Coming Soon

The BeagleBone® Enhanced 2 design is the next generation of the SanCloud SBC Enhanced range. The combination of Ti’s AM6254-HS SoC and Winbond’s W77Q secure flash sets a new secure open standard for embedded device security.

Simple Integration

The BeagleBone® Enhanced 2 (also referred to as Alto BBE2) is SanCloud’s recommendation for a suitable BBE upgrade. The BBE2 utilises the same Ti AM6254 processor as the BeagleBone® Play and PocketBeagle2® but retains BBB
formfactor/connector compatibility, including most functions for the signals on P8/P9.

Most common BBB capes should work well with the BBE2.

Optional SanCrypt IoT Security

Embedded device security is a critical design aspect for the growing number of connected IoT applications.

SanCloud’s BeagleBone® Enhanced 2 solution provides built-in security option with SanCrypt, a fully integrated device-security framework, simplifying the process of securing connected devices.

SanCrypt strengthens design robustness by securing code and data storage for trusted boot and firmware updates using external Winbond W77Q secure flash. In an increasingly security conscious world, robust solutions for trusted boot and firmware updates are indispensable to IoT security foundation.
